Grondstoffen uit CO2
Productivity.be - Het moet zowat de Holy Grail in recycling en duurzaamheid zijn: het opvangen en valoriseren van CO2-emissies. De Duitse materialengroep ThyssenKrupp is er in een pilootopstelling in geslaagd om ammonia – en eerder ook methanol – te maken uit gassen afkomstig van een staalfabriek. Op industriële schaal zou met het proces in Duitsland alleen al 20 miljoen ton per jaar aan CO2-emissies gerecupereerd kunnen worden. (updated)
