Tompkins Solutions and Agility Robotics Partner to Advance the Next Generation Warehouse Automation

Tompkins Solutions, a leading provider of supply chain consulting and warehouse automation solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with Agility Robotics, creator of the market-leading bipedal Mobile Manipulation Robot (MMR) Digit. This partnership will integrate Agility Robotics’ revolutionary Digit humanoid robot into Tompkins Solutions service offerings, bringing advanced robotic solutions to warehouse operations.

“We are thrilled to be working with Agility on a number of customer engagements,” said Anders Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Tompkins Solutions. “We very much believe in a future that is full of new and exciting innovations that help advance warehouse operations. And we expect that humanoids and the general class of mobile manipulation robots will be at the forefront of these advancements.”

As part of the partnership, Tompkins Solutions will offer customized integration services to implement Digit alongside existing warehouse automation systems, enhancing operational efficiency and flexibility. Additionally, the partnership will enable scalable solutions that increase productivity while reducing labor costs, particularly in high-demand environments such as ecommerce, retail, and food & beverage. And with Digit’s ability to navigate complex environments and perform tasks traditionally carried out by human workers, clients will experience increased operational agility.

“Tompkins Solutions’ more than 40 years of experience in supply chain and warehouse automation make them an excellent partner to help businesses implement impactful and advanced robotics solutions, like Digit,” said Peggy Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Agility Robotics. “We are excited to work together with Tompkins to help customers deploy Digit and solve for the critical labor challenges their businesses are experiencing today.”

As part of the partnership, Tompkins Solutions and Agility Robotics are working with LT Apparel Group, a leading children’s apparel design and manufacturing company, whose brands include adidas kids, Carhartt kids, and French Toast, the leader in schoolwear for kids. Tompkins has a long-standing relationship with LT Apparel Group, helping design and build LT Apparel’s supply chain and distribution infrastructure since 2015. The companies are working on an initial proof-of-concept to deploy Digit in LT Apparel’s new, state-of-the art distribution center located in Greensboro, North Carolina that was designed and built by Tompkins Solutions.

“We have prioritized innovation in everything we have done in our global business over the last 65 years,” said Richard Sutton, Chief Executive Officer of LT Apparel Group.
