Productivity.be - Open Process Automation is a new concept for process automation that, thanks to open standards, should enable extensive digitization. The aim is to create an open platform, analogous to what is customary in the IT sector, where all possible applications can be deployed in a flexible and scalable way and can exchange data.
ExxonMobil collaborates on discovery of new material to enhance carbon capture technology
ExxonMobil - Scientists from ExxonMobil, University of California, Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory have discovered a new material that could capture more than 90 percent of CO2 emitted from industrial sources, such as natural gas-fired power plants, using low-temperature steam, requiring less energy for the overall carbon capture process.
