Umati
Productivity.be - Umati – wat staat voor “universal machine technology interface” – is een OPC-UA companion specification die een gestandaardiseerd datamodel vastlegt om industriële machines en softwaretoepassingen met elkaar te laten communiceren. Via gestandaardiseerde labels wil Umati parameters en settings van machines eenduidig en ondubbelzinnig definiëren zodat ze universeel herkenbaar worden. (updated)

Productivity.be - Met “umati” heeft het communicatieprotocol voor machines dat sinds vorig jaar ontwikkeld wordt door een groep van Duitse machinebouwers officieel een naam gekregen. Op de AMB beurs in Stuttgart waren voor het eerst metaalbewerkingsmachines te zien die via het protocol communiceren met andere sturingen.
