Danfoss - Danfoss Power Solutions today announced the global availability of its BMV Integrated Drive Motor, a two-speed axial piston motor with an integrated planetary reduction gearbox. Previously offered only in select markets, the drive motor offers high durability and reliable performance in a compact, field-proven design. BMV is designed for dual-path tracked machinery, such as compact track loaders.
Atlas Copco - Clean technologies are of particular importance in vacuum technology – because they are economically advantageous and environmentally friendly. With this in mind, Atlas Copco has developed the DZS 600 VSD+ and DZS 1200 VSD+. The dry, oil-free claw pumps are powerful, energy-efficient and easy to control and maintain. By using them, users can save costs, also because fewer resources are consumed.
Schaeffler - The Motion Technology Company Schaeffler has made it into the final of the Hermes Award 2025 with its double-row angular contact needle roller bearing XZU. The globally renowned technology award was presented as part of the opening ceremony of the Hannover Messe run by Deutsche Messe AG and singles out outstanding products in respect of their level of technological innovation, benefits for the industry, and cost-effectiveness.
Beckhoff - The AMP8620 supply module and the AMP8805 distribution module are now also available with an extended voltage range for the AMP8000 distributed servo drive system from Beckhoff. There is also an additional option for controlling the holding brake for the AMP80xx distributed servo drive.
FPT Industrial - FPT Industrial is actively involved in the construction of the Fehmarnbelt tunnel between Denmark and Germany, the world’s longest immersed tunnel with a length of 11 miles, which will be the fastest route between Scandinavia and Central Europe.
ABB - ABB has extended its all-compatible family of machinery drives with the new ACS180 variable speed drive (VSD) for applications up to 22 kilowatts (kW). This easy-to-use and compact VSD brings reliability and performance for machinery builders.
Festo - The production of tyres and the production of wafers seem to have absolutely nothing to do with each other. In terms of automation technology, however, they use the same technology: Controlled Pneumatics. That is why Festo has further developed compressed air technology to make pneumatics sustainable, resource-saving and energy-efficient.
Emerson - While only one electric actuator screw type is typically available in the market, the new AVENTICS SPRA actuators offer three screw technologies. These include a precision ball screw, which provides exceptional durability and accuracy for applications that need optimal quality or throughput, a cost-effective lead screw option and roller screws for precision, speed and heavy loads.
Emerson - Today, Emerson announced that its AVENTICS Series Advanced Valve (AV) valve system with Advanced Electronic System (AES) Profinet and Ethernet/IP is now available with preinstalled Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture (OPC UA) functionality, making it the first and only valve system to offer this directly integrated capability.
igus - A student team supported by igus has developed a 3D printer with drylin linear units that offers cost-effective production of structural elements in space. When booms for solar panels or satellite antennas are transported into space in a launch vehicle, they are exposed to high loads. The AIMIS-FYT team is working on a 3D printing process to simplify the complex transport and speed up production of the elements. The future goal is to manufacture parts directly in space.
Moog - Moog Industrial Group today announced the market introduction of the new Modular EAS System. The Modular EAS is a highly flexible system with excellent scalability and variability and can be easily adapted to most types of industrial manufacturing machinery. The Moog Modular Electrohydrostatic Actuation System (Modular EAS) features standardized modules with a wide number of customization options available.
Leybold - In June 2020 the vacuum specialist Leybold has expanded its TURBOVAC i/iX series – 90, 250, 350 and 450 – by the sizes 850 i/iX and 950 i/iX to six models. The two new turbomolecular pump variants are characterized by extended, trouble-free operation, longer system life and lower operating costs. They are used in many applications from research and development and analytics to industrial.
Bosch Rexroth - It is often the case that younger designers and engineers have hardly had any experience of hydraulics as part of their training. They are primarily concerned with software and think along digital lines. They are only really interested in the movements and the resulting data. Drive physics is what makes the difference in many cases here.
Bosch Rexroth - Connecting machines and facilities with IT systems opens up enormouspotential for making forming technology more economical, quicker andmore intuitive. This is exactly where the new CytroBox hydraulic powerunit from Bosch Rexroth comes in. With its intelligent, energy-efficientmodular design, it provides a new solution approach for the mediumperformance range from 7.5 to 30 kW. By integrating IoT technologies, italso paves the way for consistently implementing Industry 4.0 concepts.
