Software AG Announces Cooperation with Generative AI Company Aleph Alpha, Offering Enhanced Integration Options for iPaaS Customers

Darmstadt and Heidelberg, Germany – Software AG today announced a cooperation with Aleph Alpha, a generative AI company focusing on developing and deploying transformative AI solutions in the field of natural language processing and multimodality with the focus on responsible and trustworthy integration with enterprise value chains.

This cooperation aims to provide Software AG's webMethods.io integration platform as a service (iPaaS) to customers with access to Aleph Alpha's API, expanding integration capabilities and addressing AI-based process automation concerns.

Following the availability of Software AG's ChatGPT connector for the webMethods.io iPaaS platform in January 2023, the new addition of the Aleph Alpha connector offers customers an even broader range of AI solution choices. The connector provides direct access to Aleph Alpha's large multimodal model Luminous, which processes both text and image inputs, and is uniquely trained on several languages. Ranked as one of the world’s most sophisticated language models, Luminous provides unique opportunities for the implementation of customized and ready-to-use AI enterprise solutions for clients. Luminous is unmatched in the field of data security and explainable AI – making it a trustworthy foundation for enterprises seeking to retain independence, secure their data, and build trustworthy solutions. This includes a sovereign deployment option for Aleph Alpha’s stack inside any cloud or on-prem environment.

Dr. Stefan Sigg, Software AG’s Chief Product Officer (CPO), stated, "Our goal is to consistently offer our customers effective integration solutions. Partnering with Aleph Alpha allows us to further enhance our offering and support clients in achieving their digital transformation objectives. By combining our robust integration platform with Aleph Alpha's advanced AI technology, we are empowering businesses to optimize their operations and make well-informed decisions."

"We are developing AI technology that can enable proprietary use-cases beyond copywriting, based on valuable enterprise data" says Jonas Andrulis. As CEO of Aleph Alpha, Jonas Andrulis is delighted to be working with one of the global market leaders in software solutions: "Software AG brings both excellent technology and industry expertise to the table. Software AG’s platform webMethods.io will enable us to integrate our Luminous models effectively into customer's infrastructures, and to make our AI services more accessible to enterprises around the world."

The cooperation highlights Software AG and Aleph Alpha's shared vision for a more interconnected and secure digital environment. The release of the Aleph Alpha connector in Software AG's iPaaS platform provides customers with a powerful, scalable, and secure method for implementing AI-driven solutions within their organizations.
