Boston Dynamics Unveils New Atlas Robot to Revolutionize Industry
Boston Dynamics - Boston Dynamics, the global leader in mobile robotics, unveiled the product version of its new Atlas robot at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas today. The fully electric humanoid was revealed during Hyundai’s global CES media day presentation, which also featured a live stage demonstration of the prototype version of Atlas, in addition to a rousing dance performance by a troupe of its famous Spot robots.
DHL Group Signs MOU with Boston Dynamics for additional 1,000-Robot Deployment
Boston Dynamics - DHL Group has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Boston Dynamics. Building on the proven success of Boston Dynamics’ Stretch robot—designed for case handling and initially deployed by DHL to automate container unloading—the agreement paves the way for the global deployment of more than 1,000 additional units. Looking ahead, DHL plans to expand the range of applications for the robots, including case picking.

Boston Dynamics - The Otto Group, one of the world’s largest e-commerce retailers, has signed a strategic agreement with Boston Dynamics to continue automating its logistics operations. The deployment supports Otto Group’s efforts to improve safety, increase operational efficiency and address labor shortages for specific types of warehouse work and the agreement marks the first time both of Boston Dynamics’ commercially available robots will be deployed together at enterprise scale.
Ford experiments with four-legged robots to scout factories
Ford - These four-legged dog-like robots can sit, shake hands and roll over. They also can perform 360-degree camera scans, handle 30-degree grades and climb stairs for hours at a time. That’s because they are actually 70-pound quadruped robots with distinctly dog-like mobility. They’re part of a Ford manufacturing pilot program designed to save time, reduce cost and increase efficiency.
