Sensor connection via IO-Link and Bluetooth Mesh

ifm - In many cases, implementing Industry 4.0 applications in existing plants used to require extensive additional cabling involving high costs and effort. The elegant solution to this from now on is using a Bluetooth mesh, i.e. one of the new Bluetooth components from ifm. Hence the Y-path providing connection to the IIoT becomes wireless.

Robust miniature pressure sensors

ifm - Flush mounting of pressure sensors in process pipework and vessels offers a distinct advantage in many applications: No dead space is created, thus preventing any buildup or blockage. The new miniature pressure sensor from ifm with a 1/4 inch process connection is ideal for fulfilling these requirements.

The new operator assistance system ifm mate

ifm - At the digital Hanover Fair 2021, ifm will be presenting the digital operator assistance system “ifm mate” for support of manual workstations in pro-duction environments. Based on a 2D/3D camera system for hand recogni-tion, the system eliminates the need for cumbersome wrist accessories common to other systems.
