NEURA to Advance Cognitive and Humanoid Robots Using NVIDIA Isaac

With access to a wide range of NVIDIA technologies specifically designed for developing next-generation robots, NEURA Robotics will use its cutting-edge knowledge in cobot applications to train cognitive and humanoid robots with the NVIDIA Isaac platform, including Isaac Lab and Isaac Sim for faster robot training with various scenarios in simulation.

NEURA Robotics, a pioneer in cognitive robotics, today announced it is joining the NVIDIA Humanoid Robot Developer Program and using the NVIDIA Isaac robot development platform with the NEURA Robotics’ Neuraverse platform to help speed up the development and deployment of both cognitive and humanoid robots.

The NEURA product portfolio includes cobots for current industrial applications (LARA series), the first cognitive cobot (MAiRA), mobile robots and manipulators, and the 4NE-1 humanoid robot. This provides robotics developers with a diverse robot portfolio based on a single AI-integrated platform, connected through Neuraverse, which benefits from the integration of capabilities offered by NVIDIA Isaac.

Developers can build robotic assistants that are application-specific using NEURA Robotics products built with NVIDIA technologies, such as NVIDIA Jetson Thor for demanding compute capabilities, that can enhance on-device AI to deliver high performance to customers.

Ambitious visions accelerated

NEURA Robotics aims to deliver up to 5 million humanoid and cognitive robots worldwide by 2030. Training for various applications in diverse real-world environments would entail time-consuming processes. Through the NVIDIA Humanoid Robot Developer Program, NEURA Robotics brings l NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab capabilities to NEURA Robotics to simulate more robots in parallel using reinforcement learning. This is crucial for modern data-intensive deep learning models. NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, and NVIDIA NIM microservices for robot simulation and learning, along with the NVIDIA OSMO orchestration service, simplify and scale complex model architectures. These tools and technologies will help NEURA Robotics achieve its growth and delivery goals faster.

David Reger, founder and visionary of NEURA Robotics, commented on the collaboration: “This initiative aligns perfectly with our mission to serve humanity using groundbreaking robotic technologies. We are excited to collaborate with NVIDIA to help advance robotics operations, control, and simulation. By combining NEURA’s innovative cognitive robotics solutions with NVIDIA’s accelerated computing and simulation platforms, we’re equipped to push the boundaries of humanoid robotics even faster.”
