Trots op onze samenwerking met TEO om een brug te bouwen tussen industrie en onderwijs. 🧑🏫 In 2020 werd de Niko Academy opgericht met het doel om nieuwe en bestaande medewerkers de nodige opleidingen te bieden om bestaande competenties aan te scherpen en nieuwe te ontdekken. In deze Niko Academy maken we gebruik van TEO tools en leerkoffers, om maximaal in te zetten op digitalisering. Samen met TEO en andere industriepartners gaan we nu een stap verder. Met de ontwikkeling van speciaal leermateriaal voor technische opleidingen in het onderwijs, willen we ook studenten beter voorbereiden op de arbeidsmarkt. Onze collega Marc Van Heck lichtte toe in een interview met De Tijd: "We merkten dat het bestaande leermateriaal de starters in onze productie onvoldoende bagage gaf. De industrie moest naar de klas en vice versa." Niko zette dan ook als een van de eerste bedrijven zijn schouders onder het project.
